4. Special Registrations

TZIRS accepts vessels to be registered for a short period valid for 3 months and automatically expiration when the period elapses. Special Registration allow the vessel to sail for delivery voyage to scrap. This special status does not eligible to obtain a Deletion Certificate.

  • Applicants must provide that they have P & I coverage or Third Party Liability Insurance cover.
  • Copy of the ISM Code compliance or confirmation from the RO that the company is in the process of obtaining certification.
  • Non-Encumbrance Certificate from the previous registry
  • Certificate of Deletion from the previous registry or permission to transfer registry to TZIRS.
