11. Authorized Entity

TZIRS has delegated authority to the classification societies and other surveying organizations to perform marine survey and issue the relevant certificates required by the International Conventions. The authority is guided by the IMO Resolution A. 739(18) which lists the requirements to be complied by the flag Administration and for the organizations acting on its behalf.

The vessels flying the TZIRS flag are entitled to enter into a private agreement with the surveying organization authorized to act on behalf of TZIRS.

Authorization has been immediately granted by TZIRS to the following organizations:

  • Germanisher Lloyd (GL)
